Life at Puppyville!

This will just be a quick update. My absence from blogland has not been intentional. My life has been taken over by puppies!  12 puppies will dramatically change your life. Mama dog was having a hard time keeping up with feeding them all so I started making puppy mush for them five times a day. Puppy mush is a blend of milk replacer, warm water and puppy chow mixed in the blender. I don't even want to talk about keeping their pen clean! Anyway, every spare minute I had has been spent working on the applique pieces for my Great-Granddaughter's baby quilt. Those are all done and now I just need to sew on the borders and it will be ready to quilt.

Quilt top for my Great-granddaughter Addison who is to make her apperance sometime in the next few weeks.

I was feeling a little stressed about getting the applique pieces done, but when they were finished I took a couple of days to play with my blue scraps for the RSC16. The Dainty Dresden  block is from Volume 12 of Quiltmakee's 100 Block magazine series. The Liberated Log Cabin blocks are something I have wanted to work on for a long time, so it made sense to combine that project with the scrap challenge. They are from Gwen Marston's book  "Liberated Quiltmaking". You can see more scrappy goodness HERE at So Scrappy blog.

Dainty Dresdens  Block #1110  in  Vol.12 Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks magazine. I hope to do one block each mont in the RSC16 color of the month.

Liberated Log Cain blocks. They will finish at 9". I hope to do at least 3 blocks each month in the RSC16 color of the month.

Surprisingly I have been able to keep up with my Quilty 365 leaves. I started on November 5, 2015 and I have completed 88 days. I linking up with Audrey of Quilty Folk and all the other Quilty 365 girls HERE.
