Speaking of quilting adventures, participating in the Old Voices New Impressions sew along has been a wonderful experience. This is the first time I have joined in a sew along with other bloggers. I am sure that without the sew along I would never have completed all the blocks for this quilt. Having the goal of four blocks each month and then a link up with the other paticipants kept me on track. I am so happy I joined in! I will be linking up with Karen at her blog, Log Cabin Quilter, HERE when the link up is available.

I tried out a few blocks with the fabric I had chosen for sashing and borders. I am still pretty happy with this choice.

I finally got some blocks sewn for our guild's raffle quilt for this year. They plan to put the top together at the January meeting.
These are blocks made for the guild's auction quilt for next year. The block is called Pinwheel Flower.
I am not keeping up as well with Bonnie Hunter's Allietare Mystery quilt as I had hoped. I am still working on Part 4, I plan to complete that part today. You can read more about the mystery quilt HERE. Sewing along with Bonnie's mystery quilt is another first for me.

One distraction was this huge tub of scraps. It was so full it was hard to dig through it to find anything. I took a day and sorted it into strings, crumbs and pieces to cut into strips.
This large tub was under my sewing table and over flowing!
For other news our American Bulldog gave birth to a litter of 12 puppies on December 28!
Happy Quilting! Rebecca
