Cranberry Album - Old Voices, New Impressions Sew Along

This will be short. I have a horrible cold and no energy at all, I hope I get over it soon. It snowed this morning, that really cheered me up.  lol     I did get some sewing done before I started feeling so bad. I completed the four Cranberry Album blocks for the month and finished a quilt top for my great-grandson's first birthday in September. I just need to get it quilted.

Trumpet Creeper

Beth's Bird

Cherry Wreath

Gilly Flowers

Eight completed blocks.

Quilt top for my Great-Grandson. This is a Bonnie Hunter pattern, "I Spy A Four Patch". It is under her Free Patterns tab.
I got some Tumblers sewn together as I worked on his quilt.

I thought I better include a couple of moose photos!

Squishy Package Goodness!!

I received this squishy package in the mail the other day. Usually a squishy package in my mail box means fabric. This was an extra special package! I won a giveaway at Anna's Woolie Mammoth blog! She has a great blog with lots of quilty slideshows. I always enjoy reading her posts! You can visit her blog HERE. The giveaway was sponsored by Sharon and Gail of Sew Many Quilts in Bend, OR. You can visit them online HERE. The kit included the pattern and gorgeous wools to make a table runner. Thank you  Anna! And thank you to Sharon and Gail!

This is what was inside! Everything to make this beautiful wool table runner! The wool is just gorgeous! My photo does not do them justice!

Now for what I have been up to. I have been cutting these strips into............

I cut these strip with my Accuquilt Go cutter. I am so glad I purchased it. It is such a time saver and a back saver!

.....these Tumblers. I am joining in with Bonnie Hunter's Leader/Ender Challenge. You can read more about it HERE.

I think I have enough Tumblers now.

For today I am going to do some slow stitching on two of my Cranberry Album blocks. I am linking up with Kathy's Quilts for Slow Stitching Sunday.

Deltana Fair Quilts 2015

I thought I would share photos of the quilts entered in our local fair. I think we had a very good showing this year with lots of variety.  Warning! Lots of photos and I am sorry to say many of the quilts look a little washed out.

A Grand Prize winner!

Another Grand Prize winner.

This one won the Viewer's Choice Award. As people come to view the quilts they vote for their favorite.

The red item on the right side of the table is a dog coat.

I hope you enjoyed the quilts! Rebecca
